Nilüfer Hatun Primary School is one of the most popular public schools of Istanbul since 1914. Our school consists of two Conference Halls, a library equipped with thousands of books and CDs, various kinds of magazines and publications, one science lab and three technology labs, one computer lab, two counseling service rooms, art classes activity rooms and one canteen. Total number of students is 2151.

Nilüfer Hatun Primary School

aims at educating individuals who have basic knowledge and skills, who can think critically, and communicate effectively and who are creative. While reaching this aim, our school has prior objectives like; providing students to know themselves, to gain learning pleasure, to be aware of their individual and social responsibilities, to know and understand different cultures and life styles and to be sensitive and useful towards the habitat.

In the light of the principles of science, warmth and tolerance which constituted our school's education system, we provide our students a democratic and a contemporary education atmosphere. In that atmosphere our students are gaining skills of individual learning and group working and also they are encouraged to improve their abilities on the fields they are interested in like arts, sports through activity opportunities.
